I was going to call the first book ‘Heartwood’ but it wasn’t quite right. This picture is best explained here.

MILADY is serialised literary fiction. Audio will accompany each chapter which will be delivered weekly so you can read, listen, or BOTH at the same time! If you are subscribed, each episode will be delivered to your email address or you may visit the MILADY website to keep up to date with the full project’s progress.

Alexandre Dumas has acted as muse and mentor and many others have assisted in the creation of this project. I would especially like to thank Lucinda Cotter and Louise Cullinan for their invaluable support and encouragement. I don’t know how I would have done it without you.

As a community member, I am extremely grateful to the Librarians and the Peer Learning Assistants at the University of Sydney who helped me book the recording studios.

I would also like to thank my Beta Readers, some of whom read multiple drafts, all of whom made constructive observations. With sincere gratitude and love, Jan Pietch, Judy O’Donnell, Jeff Bartolomei, Terry Ryan, Eliza Bram, Rowan O’Dowd, Karen Keighry, Penelope Stevenson, Trish Rogers, and my dear friend, Jenny Thompson. Thank you.

Book One is called ‘Unfurling’.

Please visit my separate Substack which explores reasoning and research at Searching for Milady

Finally, please let me know if you find a typo or an egregious error! I’d be delighted to hear your thoughts!

I hope you enjoy MILADY!
